To celebrate Canada's 150th Anniversary, the Chilliwack Opportunity Society decided to take a trip to Fort Langley and learn more about our history. It turns out that getting their in the summer is an adventure in and of itself. After one whole day stuck on the highway due to a huge accident, finally being able to get off the highway, just to have to turn around and head back to Chilliwack in order to be back in time for buses, we learned to check the highway reports before heading out. However, when we finally did find a day with a clear highway and great weather, much enjoyment was had.
