We are doing something different this year for summer. We are heading out into our community in small groups and the participants get to choose which activities they wish to do! This has proven to be much more engaging for them, and lots of fun activities are happening. We have gone swimming, bowling, riding the public transit various places, library time, picnic time, to watch events at Heritage Park, and even for fun trail walks.
We are basing our activity choices on fitness and fun rather than going for coffee and snacks - we all hope to be in a better fitness shape by the end of summer!!
